A few things Roanoke

So since last week, we've had a re-shoot day (as can be seen below) and a good try at promoting the website on the net. I've re-done the search table in a nicer format so you can see the improvement in google search results.

The main key to the rise in our search results is the addition of the film to the site, Wikipedia. Although as of yet we do not have our website linked to it, the description of the film has meant that even the most simple searches in Google bring up information regarding Roanoke The Lost Colony, Roanoke The Movie.

So in comparison from last week: (click the image to enlarge)

The results are looking pretty promising in terms of rising up the Google search ladder, we have also had a rise in hits to the website and blog so maybe its working....then again maybe its just fluke!

For our visitors from America, or future visitors I should say, we have started up a Google add that will appear from time to time on the right hand side of search results. It should look like this:

Roanoke The Movie
BSDS Productions present:
Roanoke: The Lost Colony
roanokethemovie.com
----------------------------------------------
Moving on from such analysis, by the end of this week the InfoZone will be released (yes, finally) and for those who are new, this will keep everyone up to date on all things Roanoke in regards to cast, crew, synopsis etc, then by the end of today there should be a post about the locations we'll be aiming for/have got planned for the Winter shoots. There is one more thing that is currently happening to the project but I shouldn't say anything about it until the end of the week.

Apart from that I shall bid you farewell for now and chat to you a bit later on this evening! Oh, and a very Happy Birthday to Dan, 1st AD!

Hey, I've just heard that actor Adrian Paul (of Highlander TV series fame) is set to begin filming a movie called "The Lost Colony" about the Roanoke Island settlement. Will he be in your production or is this someone else’s movie? Below is a link to the press release about Adrian Paul's involvement in the movie.

All the best

Hi There,

Adrian Paul will have no involvement in the production Roanoke: The Lost Colony as featured on this site and the relevent roanokethemovie.com homepage.

I myself have had no information in regards to this seemingly similar storyline however i'm sure the film makers will post information sooner or later depending on the status of production.

Roanoke: The Lost Colony is already half way through shooting and due for release on March 2007.

I, as I'm sure you are, would be interested to find out more information regarding this project.

I hope this has been helpfull but don't hesitate to e-mail me or reply to this post if you want more information, or if you would like some info from me should we find out more about the Adrian Paul production as featured on his NewsWire.

It seems Adrian Pauls involvement in any production would be in the USA, however the current production Roanoke: The Lost Colony is being shot entierly in the UK.
